Junior Philosophy / Aims

To provide an opportunity for as many local children as possible, regardless of ethnic, religious or socio-economic background of the child, to experience the positive aspects of participation in a team sport through playing soccer.
To make participation in soccer an enjoyable experience and to promote and uphold the ideals of sportsmanship and fair play within the club, entailing respect for one's team-mates, the opposition team and match officials.
Within the constraints of the Club's resources, to:
-provide the highest quality of soccer instruction and coaching;
-provide an opportunity and pathway for junior players to progress to playing soccer at senior level, with the Boroondara Lions Senior Football Club, or at another soccer club of their choice.
